The Mission Oak Console and Mirror are perfect for the entryway. Hang your coat, hat, and scarves on one of the four hooks of the mirror. Console includes one drawer with Mission style bail. Oak solids and veneers in warm "Mission Oak" finish is reminiscent of the turn of the Century Craftsman Style furniture. OK, but with a few flaws.. : Powell Mission Oak Console and Mirror
It's certainly not a Stickley, but for the price, it is a pretty nice piece. Was admitedly expecting a somewhat lesser quality for the price (then $219), and was pleasantly surprised. I am a firm believer that you can tell the quality of an item just by how well it goes together during assembly, and this proved to be no exception; fit and finish were uniform and flawless; pieces fit together very well, with nice, tight tolerances. Instructions could have been better; the graphic images would have been better served if they were accompanied by some descriptive commentary, but we managed well enough.
Arrived quickly, no damage to packaging or contents, no missing hardware (came with a few extra pieces, actually). At least a solid 4 1/2 stars, based on quality for the price ($219) . . . But probably would have been just as content with the quality at the currently shown $279.
